This collection contains the conference proceedings of the first Open Science Day organized by KU Leuven on 3 May 2021. During this event, KU Leuven researchers showcased the latest open science developments at the university by discussing topics such as reproducibility in research, preregistration, citizen science, responsible open research, data sharing, reuse of data, as well as power analysis and statistical methods. The keynote lectures were given by Dorothy Bishop (University of Oxford) and Johan Neyts (KU Leuven).
In addition to these proceedings, some scholars and research groups that participated in the Open Science Day have shared their stories concerning the open science practices they apply in their research.
