This collection contains the conference proceedings of the third Open Science Day organized by KU Leuven on 2 May 2023. The event consisted of two paper sessions focusing on reuse and reproducibility and novel Open Science approaches. In addition, researchers and service units of KU Leuven outlined how they apply and support open science practices during a poster session. The keynote lectures were given by Muki Haklay (University College London) and Thomas Margoni (KU Leuven).
Keynotes
The author explores the relationships between open science and citizen science, both from the policy perspective and practice, noticing barriers and opportunities.
The process of datafication of many aspects of our society, of the economy, and of the creative and scientific process has emerged as a distinctive element of this decade. This keynote will illustrate how datafication has translated into legal contentions in open science.

The presenter guides the audience step by step through the process of writing and publishing a Registered Report using personal published work as an example. Both advantages and concerns are discussed from an early career perspective.
